**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers and associated systems.
- Perform routine checks of pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel levels.
- Maintain proper records/logbooks of operations, maintenance, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory boiler operation requirements.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of boiler and auxiliaries.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults or issues with boiler systems.
- Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted steam supply.
- Ensure optimal and energy-efficient operation of the boiler systems.
- Handle emergency shutdowns and follow proper safety protocols.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must hold a valid **Boiler Attendant Certificate (1st Class / 2nd Class)** as per statutory norms.
- Minimum **3-5 years of experience** in boiler operation in a manufacturing or rubber industry preferred.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical field is desirable.
- Familiarity with rubber industry operations will be an added advantage.

**Skills Required**:

- Good knowledge of boiler controls, safety devices, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, pressure readings, and gauges.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Awareness of environmental and safety standards (e.g., IBR norms, pollution control).

**Work Conditions**:

- Working in hot and humid conditions near the boiler room.
- Shift-based duty, including night shifts as per plant requirement.
