**Istri project**:

- The Istri project enables the transition from a coal-fuelled iron box to an LPG-based iron box for roadside vendors. This transition also frees up significant additional productive time, thus boosting business incomes for these beneficiaries. Udhyam Vyapaar works across the supply chain from manufacturer to retailer to the Istriwala to move them away from the coal-based iron box. Istri project is one of the successful projects in Vyapaar enabling 5300+ vyapaaris to shift from Coal based ironing boxes to LPG-based iron boxes in Bangalore and Chennai.

**Key Responsibilities-**- Lead efforts to acquire more roadside ironing entrepreneurs into our program and onboard them-
- Interact with our Istri Vyapaaris on-field and develop creative strategies to help them scale and grow-
- The majority of your time would be on field interactions/mentoring Istri Vyapaaris, providing a demo of our Product and enabling them to scale-
- Assist in coordinating the distribution of products in the field-
- Organize events for mobilizing beneficiaries-
- Data collection from the field**Competencies and Skills**:
- Passionate for social impact-
- High energy to work on the ground and meet many Vyapaaris daily and conduct research/surveys and provide the required details-
- Basic digital skills to use apps and filling forms.-
- Good negotiation skills**Requirements**:
- A two-wheeler with a valid driving license.-
- Bachelor's Degree from any stream (MSW will be preferred, though not mandatory)-
- Proficiency in local language skills - Written and Verbal-
- At least 1 year of experience in field working directly with beneficiaries
