Quality Assurance and Laboratory Incharge with

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning, implementation & control of QA including mechanical and chemical laboratory processes.
- Review, Monitoring of Quality Assurance parameters.
- External service provider Quality stability monitoring.
- Approval of QAPs / ITPs & inspection / testing prepared by QC department
- Monitoring the achievement of quality assurance plans.
- Continual improvement of Quality and EHS related processes.
- Planning, establishment & implementation of inspection plans including destructive testing.
- To review NCPs and NCRs in Quality processes arised from internal audits, external audits and day to day activities.
- Incoming inspection of raw materials, sampling of raw materials & final Inspection of castings by Chemical, Mechanical and Metallurgical testing methods.
- Continual improvement of QA processes.
- Issue for Calibration; Control and monitoring of TMMEs used in foundry and laboratory
- Ensure the effective usage and correctness of TMMEs.
- Data analysis & taking necessary corrective & preventive actions on Destructive testing results
- Control of non-conforming products
- Related risk assessment, CP & MOC processes.
- To communicate the TPI, customers; external service providers about the inspection plan and inform the witness dates.
- To communicate special control on chemical; process requirements to Marketing department also to concerned department heads for necessary action during handling of new grade and special requirements.
- Related risk assessment, meeting the KPIs, Objective and targets set by the Top Management.
- To intimate HR department on the training need
- To co-ordinate with purchase department on the quality of the raw materials and vendor approvals
- To ensure the policy, procedure as required in ISO 17025; NABL are implemented, maintained and retained in the laboratory and the periodic external and internal audits are carried out.
- To ensure the confidentiality, impartiality during reporting the results, ensuring the reports are in line with the NABL standards or IBR or EN 31. Or EN 3.2.
- To visit the external service providers periodically; visit customer place in co-ordination with marketing; purchase; QC department to resolve the customer issues; supplier issues and improve the relationship
- To ensure the bath sample is checked for each melt; effective charge calculation and de-oxidation calculation is done as per the planning.

**Authorities**:

- To decide on all matters related to Quality Assurance processes (QA).
- To recruit and continue to train any Quality Assurance and Laboratory testing related personal at in house and external service provider place.
- Modification in existing processes, parameters and procedures.
- Product release; new grade approval; raw material approval; GRN approval;
- Approval of applicable inspection & testing reports
- Approval of QAPs/ITPs
- Participation in deviation decisions & MOCs
- To take necessary actions to mitigate the non-conformance; rework the castings meeting Quality requirements
- Approval of Internal department Objective targets
- Participation in cross functional team activities during high cost material production, closure of NCs
- Authorised to approve the reports of Laboratory for its internal and external customers
- To initiate the disciplinary actions on the subordinate for not adhering to the company policy.
- To issue the TMMEs for the periodic calibration and to decide the periodicity of calibration.

**Accountabilities**:

- Smooth & efficient functioning of Quality Assurance and Laboratory processes & their improvement (QC).
- To support and participate in the internal audits, customer audits, external audits.
- To prepare and present the datas and facts of Quality Assurance department periodically to Top Management.
- To meet the KPIs, Objective and targets, MOM points as discussed in MRM, internal meetings from time to time as specified by Top Management
- Timely closure of NCs with effective corrective actions.
- All issues of Quality Assurance departments including generation and issuing the necessary reports, test certificates to customers
- To the resources issued to Quality Assurance Department including Laboratory
- For the effective usage of raw materials; charge calculation; testing; reporting the results.
- For the correctness of the in warded raw materials including welding rods, maintain, retain the necessary documents and test reports.
- For the calibration and verification of TMMEs
- For the smooth functioning of NABL Laboratory.
- Ensuring the necessary standards are implemented, followed during the chemical, mechanical and metallography testing in laboratory.
- For the cost spent on testing, calibration, validation, re test, replica test.
- For achieving customer satisfaction and OTD.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
