Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a vehicle (car, motorcycle, bicycle, or truck) to deliver packages.
- Follow traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Load and unload packages or goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Use navigation tools or GPS to find the most efficient routes.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, recipient information, and any issues encountered during the delivery.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns when necessary.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are not damaged during transport.
- Verify the correctness of the package and delivery details.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and timelines.
- Communicate any delays or issues with the dispatch or supervisor promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking oil, brakes, and tire pressure.
- Report any vehicle issues promptly.
- Adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation and delivery services.
- Ensure the security of the delivered items, guarding against theft or damage during transit.
- Follow protocols for handling sensitive or confidential packages.
- Possess the physical stamina to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
- Maintain effective communication with the dispatch team or supervisor.
- Report any problems or incidents promptly.
- Adapt to changes in delivery schedules, routes, or procedures as needed.
