**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting and compliance related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) for a business.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to GST, including calculating and recording input tax credits, output tax liabilities, and other GST related entries.
- Filling & Computations of Monthly - GSRT1 and GSTR 3B & Annual Return - GSTR 9 & GSTR 9C.
- Ensuring that the business complies with all applicable GST laws and regulations,

including timely and accurate filing of periodic GST returns, payment of GST liabilities, and adherence to GST rates and exemptions.
- Conducting regular reconciliations of GST accounts and resolving any discrepancies to ensure accurate GST reporting and compliance.
- Providing guidance and advice to the business on GST-related matters, such as the correct treatment of GST for various transactions, identifying opportunities for optimizing GST position, managing cash flow implications, and assisting with GST audits or disputes.
- Maintaining organized and compliant records of all GST-related documents, such as invoices, receipts, and other financial records, in accordance with applicable GST laws and regulations.
- Analyzing and interpreting GST laws, regulations, and updates to provide strategic guidance to the business on potential impacts, planning for changes in GST rates or regulations.
- Collaborating with other internal teams, such as finance, tax, legal, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of GST accounting and compliance into overall financial and operational processes.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Must Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using accounting software and tools for GST calculations and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and tax authorities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience in GST accounting, compliance, or taxation is preferred.

**Salary**: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
