T&T carries some of the core assets under IG Venture (West) Portfolio within Shell PLC, with very promising future and dynamic business operations. Join our controlling and reporting team supporting integrated value Chain from upstream production, through projects to midstream liquification activities in T&T. This role is a perfect opportunity to develop broad skills related to reporting activities (incl. LSR), our systems, process excellence and Shell Control Framework.

Where do you fit in?
Reporting directly to the T&T controlling and reporting lead you will be the part of finance analyst pool (7) supporting our legal entity financial management. You will work closely with our FiB colleagues, other FO processes and interact with auditors to ensure our financial framework is robust and controls are operated effectively.

What's the role?

The key responsibilities related to controlling and reporting support for the pool will include:

- Handling a variety of financial/business activities related to Month-end close and reporting. This includes Month close activities including Journals and Accruals and accounting information.
- Ensure Financials are reported to RDS Group on a monthly within the defined timeline with utmost accuracy.
- Experience in managing Local Statutory Reporting is Mandatory.
- Review and ensure compliance with Group Financial Reporting manual.
- Operating Shell’s Internal control framework and ensure achieve Operational Effectiveness of Key SOX and Non-SOX controls for the associated activities being carried out.
- Participate/ drive Financial Statement reviews to identify Financial/ Business risk.
- Support for external and internal audits
- Identify and contribute to mitigating process inefficiencies.

What we need from you?
- Understanding of financial and management accounting
- A robust experience in fixed assets accounting and manage close processes
- Rich experience in Local Statutory Audit (only an advantage, not mandatory).
- Ability to work independently under an environment of change
- Self-motivated, organized and adaptable.
- Drive towards operational excellence and sharing best practices
- Possess the ability to work on different tasks concurrently often with tight deadlines
- Preferred knowledge of relevant ERP systems: BG SAP

Additional info:
You will be working in a 12PM to 9PM (or 2pm to 11pm) shift and you should be flexible enough to accommodate time zones during critical time periods, especially during Quarter Close, LE or OP Cycle.
