a) Perform clinical duties in the area assigned using hospital protocols and privileges.

d) Follow the procedures documented in the hospital policy and procedures manual.
e) To participate in the hospital governance as members of the hospital committees.
f) To train the Nursing staff/Technicians to enhance their skill levels.
g) Participate in the hospital induction program for orientation to the organisation’s philosophy, policy, procedures and other important information.
h) Function as a team member with Consultants, Nursing Staff, and other health service staff.
i) To follow the hospital infection control programme.
j) To attend training sessions when ever scheduled for skill development.
**1. SPECIFIC JOBS**:
a) Perform assessment of patients, including listening to their history, providing a basic physical examination and consulting with other clinical staff as necessary, and to plan treatment and management of a patient’s health problems in consultation with the treating consultant within the defined time frame.
b) Indenting the prescribed medicines in the HMS.
c) To apprise the treating consultant regarding the clinical condition of the patient.
d) To re-assess the patients in the shift at least once and document the same.
e) Handing over and taking over of the patient at the bed side during change of the shift.
f) Ensure the care of the patient is done as per the care plan including medication administration, dressing and other interventions.
g) To supervise the Nursing staff in carrying out the care of the patient including administration of High Risk drugs and Blood transfusion.
h) To attend code blue event as a team member when ever announced.
i) Explain the patients or attendants the proposed care/procedure and obtain necessary consent in the prescribed format.
j) Complete in-patient documentation including clinical notes, medication orders etc. with signature, name, date and time as per the policy.
k) To assist consultant for timely completion of discharge summary.
l) To assist consultant for education of the patient and family regarding preventive aspects, safe medication, food drug interaction, Drug drug interaction, Nutritional etc.
m) Work in a way that is consistent with health and safety practices, especially in regard to the handling and disposal of sharps and body fluids.
n) Take responsibility for personal professional development and maintain professional standards via CME activities. Participate in monthly in-house CME.
o) To participate in the marketing and CSR activities to promote the organization through medical camps, lectures, CMEs, health checkups etc.
p) To assist consultant for daily assessment of the patient during rounds.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
