Property Maintenance Electrician

As a Property Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and safety of electrical systems in various types of properties including apartments, schools, commercial buildings, retail spaces, hospitals, restaurants, and office spaces. Your primary duties will involve installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Electrical Installation: Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local electrical codes and regulations. This includes lighting systems, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

2. Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify any issues or potential hazards. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty or outdated electrical components such as wiring, switches, and outlets.

3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. This may involve testing circuits, using diagnostic equipment, and analyzing wiring diagrams.

4. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations. Take necessary precautions to prevent electrical hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

5. Emergency Response:Respond promptly to electrical emergencies such as power outages, electrical fires, or equipment failures. Take appropriate measures to resolve the issue and minimize disruption to property occupants.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and equipment manuals. Keep track of inventory and supplies needed for electrical repairs and installations.

Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:Minimum of an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Additional certifications or coursework in electrical systems maintenance are advantageous.

3. Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical theory, practices, and safety procedures. Ability to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools is preferred.

4. Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact with property occupants, maintenance staff, and external vendors. Clear and concise communication is crucial for coordinating tasks and addressing electrical issues efficiently.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,258.43 per month
