Assembly & Service Technician (Ev Two Wheelers)

**Role **:Assembly Engineer & Supervisor - Electric Two Wheelers.

**Experience**: 1 - 3 years experience in Electric Two wheelers.

**Salary**: Rs.20,000 - Rs.30,000 Per Month.

**Education**: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer.

**Job Location**: Bhiwandi, Mumbai.

**Notice Period**: Immediate Joiners Preferred.

**Position Overview**:
As the Assembly Engineer and Supervisor for Electric Two Wheelers, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all production / assembly operations related to electric two-wheelers. You will also play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that the vehicles are built to the highest standards of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Assembly Process**:

- Participate in the assembly of electric two-wheelers, ensuring that all components are correctly installed and aligned according to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the production team to streamline assembly procedures and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during the assembly process.

**2. Customer Support**:

- Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electric two-wheelers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on best practices for maximizing the performance and longevity of their vehicles.

**3. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including service reports, warranty claims, and parts inventory.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement based on service data analysis.

**4. Training and Development**:

- Conduct training sessions for service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge of electric vehicle technology.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in EV technology through continuous learning and professional development.

**5. Team Management**:

- Supervise and lead a team of service technicians and assembly workers. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team members adhere to quality and safety standards.

**6. Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all service and assembly tasks meet the company’s standards and regulatory requirements.

**7. Inventory and Equipment Management**:

- Oversee the management of parts, tools, and equipment. Ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.

**8. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of service and assembly activities, including work orders, inventory usage, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on operational performance and any issues encountered.

**9. Process Improvement**:

- Continuously assess and improve service and assembly processes. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

**10. Compliance**:

- Ensure that all service and assembly operations comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.

**Required Qualification**:

- ITI / Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the automotive or electric vehicle industry, with hands-on experience in service and assembly.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle technology, components, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
