**Key Responsibilities and Skills**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Checking of design basis report, cost estimation reports.
- Reviewing of Basic and Detailed engineering drawings/ Documents for maintaining the quality.
- Reviewing of Technical specifications & data sheets for all electrical system including SCADA and EMS/PMS, Technical Bid analysis, Purchase recommendations and vendor drawing review of the electrical equipment.
- Engineering of Captive power plant of smaller rating including synchronising.
- Engineering of EHV substation (AIS and GIS)
- Engineering of special systems such as Electrical Heat Tracing system and Cathodic Protection System
- Perform as “Project lead Engineer-Electrical” for Medium and large size of projects.
- Identifying Value addition opportunities
- Coordination within the discipline, other disciplines, client and project management team
- Adhere to Quality Management procedures & safety standards of the company.
- To guide/mentor the junior engineers
- Adhere to Quality Management procedures & safety standards of the company.
- Contribution for standardization of documents
- Participation in proposals, helping BD team by estimating optimum efforts.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Experience In the field of Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Industrial projects etc.
- Experience for PSU sectors
- Technically competent engineer with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Team building and guiding the team
- Ability to understand the project requirements, interdisciplinary co-ordination requirements and be pro-active
- Ability to financially control and manage project.
- Required fair experience in control and protection for LV, HV and EHV system.
- Familiarity with of latest relevant Indian & international (IEC) codes & standards, Regulation.
- Carrying out Inspection of Electrical equipment
- Knowledge of Electrical system for various mechanical and process packages.
- Knowledge of Reviewing 3D Modelling with Navisworks software
- Experience of Electrical System studies including Transient stability, static and Dynamic studies etc.
- Knowledge of other software for system studies will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of load shedding and Islanding system
- Site experience/coordination with site team
- Working on foreign assignment will be added advantage.
- Working as Engineering Manager will be added advantage
- Familiar with non conventional energy sources such as Solar, wind etc.
