Job Title: Assistant Professor - Aviation Department

Location: IIMT UNIVERSITY, MEERUT

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
1.Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in aircraft maintenance engineering, ensuring a high standard of instruction.
2.Create course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assessments.
3.Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on academic and career matters.
4.Utilize innovative teaching methodologies and technology to enhance the learning experience.

Research:
1.Engage in scholarly research activities relevant to aircraft maintenance and engineering.
2.Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
3.Seek external research funding and collaborate with colleagues on research projects.
4.Encourage and support students in their research endeavors.

Curriculum Development:
1.Contribute to the development and enhancement of the aircraft maintenance engineering curriculum.
2.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure program relevance.
3.Assess and revise course materials to meet evolving educational needs.

Service and Engagement:
1.Serve on departmental and university committees as required.
2.Participate in academic and professional organizations related to aircraft maintenance and engineering.
3.Foster connections with industry partners for internships, co-op programs, and research opportunities for students.

Professional Development:
1.Stay updated on advancements in aircraft maintenance technology and teaching methodologies.
2.Pursue professional development opportunities and certifications as relevant to the field.

Qualifications:

- A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in **Aircraft Maintenance Engineering** or a closely related field is preferred.
- A strong background in aircraft maintenance and engineering with industry experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching and research.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
