- Administering VM Clusters & Real Application Clusters (RAC) node failure recovery
- Tuning Oracle Database Performance on Exadata Cloud at Customer
- Exachk, orachk, AHF, TFA utillities checking to improvemnt the system
- Exadata feature like Smart scan, Storage Indexes, Columnar compression,
- In-Memory fault tolerance
- CPU and Memory Utillization check
- Plan and design changes to infrastructure (e.g. upgrades / upsize) by collaborating with Oracle Cloud Services
- VM's availability and Monitoring.
- Healthcheck status for VM Nodes.
- Adding an SSH Public Key
- Removing an SSH Public Key
- User access management
- VM Operating System management and upgrades
- Exadata Storage, Storage Server Software updates
- DOM0 - Ethernet Switches, Infiniband Switches, Power Supplies
- DOM0 - Exadata Compute and Storage Server Hardware
- DOM0 - Hypervisor running on the physical servers
- Dom0 Patching DB Server, CellServer, IBSwitches.
- Implement firmware updates and upgrade / repairs to various hardware components
- Advanced notification of planned update maintenance windows and Oracle Cloud Operations
- Implement Cloud Stack updates / Implement Infrastructure Upgrades
- Monitor ExaCC infrastructure layer & Control Plane usage/performance, fault, availability
- ExaCC infrastructure layer incident monitoring and resolution / management / root cause analysis, threshold performance analysis
- Desirable Skills: Knowledge on ITIL standards
- Request mgmt., Incident mgmt., Change mgmt.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ensure proper communication and quick resolution
