They work closely with engineers to design new products and maintain existing ones.

Here are some of their responsibilities:
Create detailed drawings: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings that include dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.

Work from specifications: Start with rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects.

Design products: Use engineering and manufacturing techniques to design products.

Specify materials: Specify the dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.

Maintain products: Make engineering changes to improve quality or manufacturing processes.

Collaborate with engineers: Discuss design goals, share ideas, and receive feedback from engineers.

Assist manufacturing: Occasionally assist the manufacturing department when production issues occur.

Mechanical draftsmen may also: Be familiar with industrial standards, Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures,

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
