Video Content Producer (Specializing in Documentary and Long-Format Video Production)

**Position** Video Content Producer (Video Specialist)
**Department**: Marketing/Media/Communications
**Reports To**: Head of Content
**Employment Type**: Full-time

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Content Production**:

- Develop, produce, and edit video content, with a focus on documentaries and long-format videos, for various platforms including social media, websites, and other digital channels.
- Handle all aspects of video production, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, and post-production. ( end-to-end video production process )
- Collaborate with the creative teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.

**Project Management**:

- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Coordinate with the video editing team and external vendors, freelancers, or contractors as needed.

**Post-Production**:

- Coordinate with the video editing team, with knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring proper formatting, resolution, and file size.

**Content Distribution**:

- Assist in the strategic distribution of video content across social media channels, websites, and other platforms.
- Monitor video performance metrics and adjust content strategies as needed to maximize engagement and reach.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelors degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 6+ years of experience in video production, including pre-production, shooting, and post-production.
- Proven experience in producing documentaries and long-format video content for various digital platforms.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of cinematography.
- Excellent storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and language skills.
