**Job Description - Computer Teacher (Grades 9 & 10, CBSE Curriculum)**

Position: Computer Teacher (Secondary - Grades 9 & 10)

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging computer science lessons for Grades 9 & 10 in alignment with **CBSE curriculum guidelines**.
- Teach programming concepts, networking, database management, web design, and other topics prescribed in the curriculum.
- Design assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Prepare students for **CBSE board examinations** by conducting regular tests, practice sessions, and revision classes.
- Integrate technology in teaching to enhance the learning process.
- Maintain student progress records and share feedback with parents during PTMs.
- Encourage participation in computer-related competitions, exhibitions, and coding clubs.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer labs, equipment, and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of **CBSE Computer Applications/Computer Science curriculum** (Grades 9 & 10).
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java/C++ as per CBSE syllabus).
- Familiarity with operating systems, networking concepts, MS Office, and database management.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to integrate **ICT tools** and e-learning resources in teaching.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in **Computer Science / Information Technology** or equivalent.
- **B.Ed. (mandatory)** with specialization in Computer Science / IT.
- Minimum **2-3 years of teaching experience** in CBSE curriculum (preferred).
