Garment Merchandiser

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garment Merchandiser to join our team. As a Garment Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the entire production process for our garments, ensuring that they are manufactured, delivered, and distributed according to the company's standards and timelines. Your strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and deep understanding of the fashion industry will be essential in successfully executing this role.

**Responsibilities:.**

Product Development:

- Collaborate with designers and suppliers to develop new garment samples, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards, target price, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of current market trends, customer preferences, and competitors to identify opportunities for new product development.

Production Coordination:

- Plan and coordinate the production process for garments, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing and shipping finished products.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth production operations, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

Order Management:

- Receive and review customer orders, ensuring accuracy and feasibility within the company's production capabilities.
- Monitor and track order progress, addressing any issues or delays that may arise to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on order status and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

Quality Assurance:

- Conduct regular quality checks on garments throughout the production process, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing team to resolve any quality-related issues promptly and effectively.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure sufficient stock availability to fulfill customer orders.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential stock shortages or excesses, taking appropriate actions to optimize inventory management.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including purchase orders, production schedules, shipping documents, and customer invoices.
- Generate regular reports on production status, order fulfillment, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Garment Merchandiser or a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, including sourcing, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for inventory management, order tracking, and reporting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, market demands, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
