**Role Summary**

As a **Junior System Administrator** at Almuqeet Systems, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to ensure 24/7 uptime across systems and networks, contribute to automation and documentation, and provide hands-on support for server and network operations.

**Success in this role means**:

- Proactively maintaining stable, secure, and efficient IT systems
- Rapidly resolving issues to minimize downtime
- Supporting cross-functional teams with reliable system performance

This position is vital to keeping Almuqeet’s global communication platforms running smoothly and securely.

**Responsibilities**
- Install, configure, and maintain **Linux** and **Windows** systems
- Manage **Active Directory** accounts, permissions, and security policies
- Monitor and troubleshoot **firewalls, routers, VLANs, LAN/WAN** connectivity
- Support and manage **virtualization platforms** (Proxmox, VMware)
- Perform **regular system backups** and ensure disaster recovery readiness
- Document configurations, changes, and procedures accurately
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades and automation initiatives
- Maintain system security and ensure **24×7 uptime** for critical operations

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- **Experience**: 2-3 years in System or Network Administration
- **Technical Skills**:

- Linux/Windows administration
- Networking protocols and security fundamentals
- Virtualization tools (Proxmox, VMware)
- Backup and monitoring tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
