**About Urban Canvas Design Studio**:
Urban Canvas Design Studio, a leader in innovative design solutions, is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team. This role involves creating detailed 2D layouts, design documents and detailed drawings that are vital in bringing our creative visions to life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop detailed 2D layouts, design documents and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with design teams to conceptualize and draft design plans.
- Convert rough sketches and specifications into detailed technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings and layouts meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Update and modify drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and organize all AutoCAD files for easy access and reference.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss design concepts and provide input.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely completion of designs.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of other drafting and design software like SketchUp, Revit, or similar is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with design teams and clients.
- Ability to interpret and convert rough sketches and descriptions into accurate technical drawings.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
- A creative problem-solver with a keen eye for aesthetics and functional design.
