**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Must be certified in AZ-104 (Azure Administrative Associate).
- Design Azure virtual machines (VMs) and VM architecture for IaaS and PaaS, understand availability sets, fault domains and update domains in Azure.
- Azure API Management, Security, Cloud-to-Cloud Integration (Public, Private).
- Windows Azure (Website, Web role and worker roles).
- Should have at least 1 plus years hands on experience in Terraform.
- Build configuration and automation tools to simplify the process of deploying, upgrading, and scaling systems and software across our environment.
- Develop PowerShell scripts and ARM templates to automate the provisioning and deployment process.
- Strong Windows skills, with system administration experience in a production Windows environment.
- Strong Linux skills, with system administration experience in a production Linux environment.
- Azure load balancing options, including Traffic Manager, Azure Media Services, CDN, Azure Active Directory, Azure Cache, Multi-Factor Authentication and Service Bus.
- Azure point-to-site (P2S) and site-to-site (S2S) VPN, understand the architectural differences between Azure VPN, ExpressRoute and Azure services.
- Azure virtual private network (VPN) and ExpressRoute architecture and design.

**Requirements**:

- Required Skills & Experiences:

- Strong understanding of the Azure Cloud Platform.
- Certified Azure Solution Architect will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with loose coupling and stateless systems.
- Understanding of different consistency models in distributed systems.
- Experience with CDN, and performance concepts.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
- Exposure to working in an infrastructure support environment with responding to tickets using a ticket management tool.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Process and skills**:

- Maintains a high degree of technical readiness, in order to be successfully prepared to support the delivery of customer engagements using the latest technologies. Analyzing Risks, Gaps in the existing environment and resolve them. Should have capability to influence others to achieve results
- Take responsibility of one or more than one customer as Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
- Incident Management: Resolve technical and some business incidents independently or with cross functional teams.
- Problem Management: Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent complex problems from occurring across teams/technologies.
- Change Management: Independently review and verify changes/solutions of high complexity and risk to meet customer.
- Patch and Security Management: Provide input to security policies. Proactively monitor the environment for patch compliance. Analyze patches for compatibility with each customer or internal infrastructure environment. Approve patch and security changes.
