The Reservation Executive is responsible for managing and processing hotel reservations efficiently, ensuring a smooth guest experience. This role involves liaising with potential guests, travel agents, and other hotel departments to ensure accurate and timely bookings, cancellations, and inquiries. The Reservation Executive must maintain a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Handling Reservations**:

- Ensure correct and timely entry of guest details into the booking system (PMS - Property Management System).
- Confirm reservations and send booking confirmations to guests.
- **Managing Room Availability**:

- Monitor room availability and rates, and update accordingly on all platforms.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Sales, and Marketing departments to ensure proper allocation of rooms.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address and respond to inquiries regarding room availability, rates, and hotel facilities.
- Provide personalized assistance and recommendations to guests regarding booking options.
- Resolve any issues or complaints related to reservations and offer solutions in a courteous manner.
- **Reservation Systems and Software**:

- Use reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Sabre, etc.) and ensure accurate data entry.
- Maintain guest records and ensure that all information is updated in the system.
- **Confirmations and Cancellations**:

- Handle booking confirmations, amendments, and cancellations efficiently.
- Communicate cancellation policies and fees clearly to guests.
- **Report Generation and Documentation**:

- Prepare reports on reservations, cancellations, occupancy, and booking trends for management.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and reservations.
- **Coordination with Other Departments**:

- Work closely with the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Sales departments to ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest experiences.
- Ensure that VIP or special requests are communicated and fulfilled.
- **Promotions and Upselling**:

- Inform guests about ongoing promotions, offers, and packages to encourage upselling.
- Recommend and book additional services, such as spa treatments or dining, where appropriate.
- **Handling Payments and Deposits**:

- Ensure that payment information is collected for reservations that require a deposit or prepayment.
- Work with the Finance department to reconcile payment issues when necessary.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a reservation or front office role in a hotel is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or other reservation systems).
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing reservations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic accounting or finance knowledge for handling payments and deposits.
- Multitasking ability and organizational skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,161.58 - ₹30,424.37 per month
