You support system activities in a specific process area, including analysis, design, and overseeing the implementation of system changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency aligned with corporate strategies.

**How you will contribute**

Working in a cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with global and regional teams to optimize SAP and integrated non-SAP systems and processes, translating business needs into functional requirements. You will define what the capability must achieve and how success will be measured and ensure that solutions are robust, strategically aligned and efficient to deliver and maintain. To succeed in this role, you must understand integration points in an integrated ERP system (i.e. SAP ECC), standalone, SAAS, and control systems and effectively interact with senior management from business and technology disciplines to keep them informed and to present highly complex solutions.

**What you need to know about this position**:
'The Global Solution Owner - MDS R&D Pack Innovation is a member of the Mondelez Digital Services (MDS) Digital R&D team.

The incumbent will be expected to:

- Work within packaging as well as across other R&D functions & categories to deliver business value using various systems & digital technologies.
- understand the business process area, business needs and challenges within existing solutions.
- Translate business needs into a backlog of functionalities which need to be designed and developed.
- Collaborate with the business to own the prioritization of developments and identifies vendors to perform such improvements.
- Partner internally across various IT groups & externally (e.g. Vendors, Architects or Application Development Factory) to lead the delivery of such solutions.
- Support various R&D digital & data strategic initiatives and incorporate Packaging related data where needed into R&D models and solutions.
- Champion the use of Agile practices throughout a solution lifecycle (from proof of concept to pilot) as well as project management practices to scale solutions.
- Work closely with Application support to understand what may be impacting end users and drives necessary systemic fixes to mitigate future risks.
- Ensure that solutions comply to Mondelēz standards.

- 5+ years of professional experience ideally in the consumer goods industry

**Education / Certifications**:Degree in IT/IS Computer Science or equivalent

**Job specific requirements**:

- Knowledge of SAP PLM is a plus
- Knowledge of R&D or Packaging systems & processes is a plus
- Knowledge of Data & Analytics or Modelling & Simulation solutions is a plus
- Experience managing product lifecycles
- Interface with Key Stakeholders:

- **External - **3rd party consultants (e.g. System Integrators and Consultants) Strategic Partners (e.g. Accenture, Infosys, etc) 3rd party support teams
- **Internal - **R&D Functional Teams: Packaging; Modelling & Simulation; Categories MDS Teams: R&D Leadership; Innovation, Data & Analytics, Portfolio, CTO teams (network, hosting, EUC), Architecture, Service Operations Other MDS Functions: Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing
