Job Description:
1. The Copy Editor is responsible for going through educational (academic and pedagogical) print with a fine-toothed comb to identify and correct grammatical and conceptual errors.

2. He/She will work closely with the Curriculum Team to iron out mistakes and ensure that the final content is completely error-free, as well teacher friendly.

4. Design and publish work-related reports, newsletters, blogs, and social copies.

5. A great work ethic and ability to adhere to timelines. He/she should be open towards working with different teams and functions and have a creative, solution-oriented approach.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Proofread content for lesson plans and other support materials created by the K-12 Team

2. Identify and correct grammatical and syntactical errors.

3. Rigorously follow the prescribed list of checks for each project

4. Adhere to the in-house style, grammar, and punctuation rule handbook to ensure consistency across all materials.

5. Point out conceptual errors and work with the Curriculum Team to correct them.

6. Keep in mind the ease of use for teachers; point out instances where these may be improved and help the Curriculum Team to rework them.

7. Adhere strictly to assigned projects and timelines,

8. Maintain quality standards under tight timelines and demanding schedules Skills

9. A critical eye for grammar and language

11. Willingness to take on challenges and adapt to a sharp learning curve

12. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English or Journalism

13. At least 2-5 years of experience in digital publishing, preferably in the Copy Desk /copy edit/ content writer

14. Experience in proofreading, content writing and quality assurance in publishing

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹610,000.00 per year
