**Overview**:
We are looking for a creative game designer to join our team and deliver exciting new games on our ZionVerse platform. As a game designer, you would be expected to shape the game ideas, mechanics and the game world to give players a great gaming experience. This is an opportunity to leave the shore to travel and explore the great open sea of Game Design and bring your imagination to life.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay systems that achieve a fulfilling flow state, addictive game loops, and a risk/reward balance.
2. Developing the storyline, character back-stories, and dialogue, through scripts and storyboards, including any relevant research.
3. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups) that details the triggers, interactions, and subsequent events of specific features or aspects of gameplay.
4. Work closely with User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Designers to optimize the player interface.
5. Work collaboratively with Leads, Designers, Developers, and cross-functional teams to facilitate well-planned and executed features.
6. Model, simulate, and tune the game's economy with multiple currencies, progression systems, sinks and faucets.
7. Constantly learn about evolving game dynamics, emerging player behaviour and trends, and champion these insights to improve the effectiveness of design efforts
8. Build creatively challenging and interesting level designs for a top-notched gaming experience.

**Requirements**:
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in Game Design
2. An ability to break things down into systems
3. An understanding of marketing and market research to understand what your target audience wants and how to sell it to them
4. Possess a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the games development pipeline across different devices.
5. A thorough understanding of game design, learning curve, directing the player, difficulty levels, balancing, pacing, motivation, reward cycle and other core concepts.
6. Be able to propose creative solutions to complex level design problems.
7. Experience with any game engine such as Unity or Unreal.
8. Must be highly creative and have storytelling ability.
9. Outstanding self-motivation and initiative in a highly dynamic environment.
10. Must be Passionate about video games.
11. Superb written & verbal communication skills.

**Plus points**:
1. Experience in real money game development and live ops.
2. Interest and knowledge of metaverses and web3 space in general.
