**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Biotechnology Researcher** to support and drive innovation in biofuel production processes. This role focuses on the research and development of microbial, enzymatic, and biochemical pathways for converting biomass and other feedstocks into biofuels such as biodiesel and bioethanol. The researcher will work in a lab-based environment and support scale-up in pilot or production settings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct lab-based research on microbial strains, enzymes, or feedstock pretreatment relevant to biodiesel or ethanol production.
- Develop and optimize fermentation, transesterification, or enzymatic conversion processes.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and document results in technical reports or journals.
- Identify and genetically improve microbial strains (e.g., algae, yeast, or bacteria) for improved lipid or ethanol production.
- Assist in scaling up successful lab experiments to pilot plant trials and support technology transfer to production teams.
- Stay current with advances in biotechnology, renewable energy, and sustainable fuel technologies.
- Support grant writing, patent drafting, or technical proposals for research funding or intellectual property protection.
- Follow all lab safety protocols and ensure biosafety standards are maintained.

**Qualifications**:

- B.tech/M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioenergy, or related discipline.
- Research experience (2-5 years preferred) in industrial biotechnology, microbial fermentation, or enzymatic processing for biofuels.
- Knowledge of lipid-producing microorganisms, lignocellulosic biomass conversion, or algal biotechnology is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments: bioreactors, spectrophotometers, GC-MS, HPLC, etc.
- Familiarity with molecular biology tools, microbial culturing, and strain selection methods.

**Salary & Benefits**:

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
