
Sales Executive

The Sales Executive in Retail is responsible for driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and supporting the smooth operation of the store. They should be knowledgeable about the products, create a welcoming environment for customers, and ensure that store targets are met through effective sales techniques and customer relationship building.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales and Customer Service**:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide excellent service.
- Understand customer needs and recommend products accordingly.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
- **Product Knowledge**:
- Stay updated on the features, benefits, and promotions of products in the store.
- Demonstrate product usage and benefits to customers.
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their needs.
- **Visual Merchandising**:
- Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment.
- Ensure products are well-stocked and properly displayed.
- Ensure promotional materials and displays are updated as required.
- **Stock Management**:
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory control.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the manager of low stock or any stock-related issues.
- Help with stock rotation to minimize outdated products.
- **Sales Reporting**:
- Keep track of individual sales performance.
- Report sales figures, customer feedback, and market trends to the management team.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with team members to meet store sales targets.
- Support training and development for new staff members.
- **Cash Handling**:
- Process customer transactions, including handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales tracking.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
