**Responsibilities**:
1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks, tools, and processes to support the software development lifecycle.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers, to identify and prioritize test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.

3. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test suites for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.

4. Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, track software quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and effectiveness.

5. Identify opportunities for test automation and propose strategies to optimize testing efforts, reduce manual testing, and increase overall efficiency.

6. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior automation engineers, fostering their professional growth and promoting best practices in test automation.

7. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in automation script development.

8. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines, enabling early detection of issues and seamless software deployments.

9. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation and contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and frameworks to improve testing processes.

10. Participate in root cause analysis of defects and contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues related to test automation.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

2. Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools.

3. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

4. Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.

5. Solid understanding of software development methodologies, test strategies, and quality assurance processes.

6. Strong knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and database concepts.

7. Experience with version control systems, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.

8. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.

9. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
