**Job Summary**:
The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures at the project site to ensure a safe working environment. The role involves conducting safety inspections, promoting safety awareness among workers, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs at the site.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and regular safety training sessions for site personnel.
- Carry out site safety inspections and report unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all workers.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare and submit reports with corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to enforce safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with local safety laws and statutory requirements.
- Display safety signages and ensure emergency preparedness at site (firefighting, first aid, etc.).
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and take preventive actions.
- Knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical preferred).
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in building/construction projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
