**JOB DESCRIPTION -**

**Job Title**: Sales Officer - Modern Trade

**Industry**: FMCG

**Areas to be covered**: Delhi

**Key Job Responsibilities -**

1. Sales Target Achievement:

- Achieve sales targets and growth objectives within assigned modern trade accounts.
- Ensure product placement and availability across all outlets.

2. Account Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and other modern trade channels.
- Negotiate and finalize terms of trade agreements and promotional activities.

3. Merchandising and Execution:

- Ensure effective shelf space management and product visibility at all outlets.
- Implement trade promotions, offers, and marketing campaigns as per the company’s guidelines.

4. Inventory Management:

- Monitor stock levels at the outlets and ensure timely replenishments.
- Minimize returns and expiries through effective stock rotation.

5. Market Analysis:

- Analyze sales trends, competition activities, and consumer behavior in the modern trade segment.
- Provide actionable insights to the management for improving performance.

6. Team Coordination:

- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and distributors, for seamless operations.
- Train and guide promoters to ensure consistent and effective brand representation.

7. Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and trade agreements.
- Handle customer grievances and provide resolutions promptly.

**Key Requirements**:
1. Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

2. Experience:

- 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG/Modern Trade segment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.

3. Skills:

- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of modern trade operations and dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Compensation Package:

- Performance bonus

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)
