**Commercial Contracts Attorney**

Micron is seeking an experienced attorney to draft, negotiate, and manage complex sales contracts on behalf of Micron’s multi-billion-dollar Business Units, and to provide a consistent point of contact for both internal and external parties for all aspects of complex sales contracts. The attorney will collaborate with senior leaders within Micron’s Business Units to set budgets and timelines, and will engage with customers, distributors, and partners to develop strong professional relationships as contract terms are negotiated.

**Responsibilities include the following**:

- Draft, negotiate and manage sales contracts and, to a lesser extent, a variety of other contracts covering a range of transactions
- Maintain records of correspondence in relation to these contracts
- Present information to stakeholders and senior leaders about contract-related matters
- Monitor contract lifecycle, and close, extend or renew contracts as appropriate
- Provide rapid, practical, business-oriented legal/commercial contract advice directly to business clients

**Qualifications**:

- The ability to communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders about contract-related matters
- Self-confidence and exceptional negotiation skills
- Competency with financial terms to accurately evaluate financial benefits of contracts
- The ability to appropriately balance contract benefits versus risk and cost
- At least three years of experience working in an in-house environment
- At least five years of experience drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial agreements, particularly sales agreements, preferably across geographies, preferably in the semiconductor space or in an adjacent industry
- A location that is within a reasonable distance of a Micron office, or a willingness to relocate

**Education**:

- JD from an ABA accredited law school and a current member of the bar in good standing
