**Job Description: Full-Time Role Working on Climate Change and Sustainability**

**Position: Senior Program Officer, Climate Change and Sustainability**

**Location**: Global (Remote options available)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Development and Management**:

- Design and implement programs focused on climate change, sustainability, and gender justice.
- Lead the development of community engagement initiatives and capacity-building programs.
- Oversee project lifecycle from inception to evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Foster partnerships with international organizations, governments, and community groups.
- Lead working groups and committees, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Represent the organization at global forums and events, advocating for climate and gender justice.
- **Research and Analysis**:

- Conduct primary and secondary research on climate change, sustainability, and gender issues.
- Analyze data using tools to inform program strategies.
- Author reports, policy briefs, and research papers to share insights and recommendations.
- **Event Organization**:

- Plan and execute large-scale events such as summits, conferences, and workshops.
- Manage logistics, speaker vetting, and participant engagement to ensure successful events.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality event experiences.
- **Communications and Outreach**:

- Develop content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
- Promote research findings and program outcomes to a broad audience.
- Engage with media and public relations teams to enhance the organization's visibility.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Postgraduate in a related field from a reputable institution.
- **Experience**:

- Proficient in community engagement, program development, and research.
- Ability to lead initiatives focused on climate change, sustainability, and gender justice.
- Experience working with international organizations such as the United Nations, NGOs, or global foundations.
- **Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in research tools and software's.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
