**Job Description**:

- **Deliver Test Architect responsibilities over multiple testing projects in Personal Banking. Provide support to QA leadership team by taking ownership of some of the key strategic initiatives.**:

- **Brings in industry expertise and knowledge into testing to drive innovation and new capabilities for testing. Play anchor role in test design, test scope definition, test automation and quality metrics.**:

- **Able to Interface effectively with business and technical stakeholders for requirements and design clarifications**:

- **Experience in conducting static testing to identify defects early in life cycle**:

- **Drives test team to adhere to test schedule in conjunction with project schedule, Collaborates with other work streams to recover slippages**:

- **Assesses and effectively communicates impact on the existing systems/business processes and estimates the effort involved in implementing the change**:

- **Takes unpopular stands if necessary to deliver the best outcome**:

- **Encourages direct and tough debate but isn't afraid to end it and move on**:

- **Energised by challenges**:

- **Risks are foreseen and raised at appropriate forum**:

- **Suggests mitigation for Risks identified**:

- **Exposure on working and guiding in a team environment on testing projects**:

- **Domain Knowledge in Retail Banking and testing experience in one or more core banking product platforms/systems such as Accounting and clearing / General Ledger, Savings & Insurance products, Online/mobile payments, Customer & Risk systems, and Debit Cards and payments.**:

- **Demonstrate the ability to work independently on all aspects of the testing lifecycle**:

- **Experience in working on multiple projects of 6 months duration or more with global teams.**

**Primary Skills**:

- **Deliver Test Architect responsibilities over multiple testing projects in Personal Banking. Provide support to QA leadership team by taking ownership of some of the key strategic initiatives.**:

- **Experience in HP Quality centre, JIRA or Agile Central (Rally) and similar test management tools.**:

- **Hands-on experience in one or more technical areas of Personal Banking technology platforms.**:

- **Mainframe - COBOL, IMS, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, TWS, File-Aid, REXX**:

- **Open Systems and tools - Selenium, Java, Jenkins, J2EE, Web-services, APIs, XML, JSON, Parasoft/SoaTest -API testing**

**Secondary Skills**:

- **Mid-Tier technology - MQ, WebSphere, UNIX, API 3 rd party hosting platforms**:

- **Good Knowledge of various industry standard testing terminologies, processes and tools**:

- **Strong analytical capacity.**:

- **Aptitude to quickly learn new tools/apps/processes/domains.
