Assistant Vice President - Salesforce Lead Engineer - Client and Distribution At M G our purpose is to give everyone real confidence to put their money to work As an international savings and investments business with roots stretching back more than 170 years we offer a range of financial products and services through Asset Management Life and Wealth All three operating segments work together to deliver attractive financial outcomes for our clients and superior shareholder returns Through our behaviours of telling it like it is owning it now and moving it forward together with care and integrity we are creating an exceptional place to work for exceptional talent We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and also offer work place accommodations to ensure you have what you need to effectively deliver in your role We are seeking a Salesforce Lead Engineer to drive the design development and optimization of Salesforce solutions This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce architecture development and integration ensuring scalable and high-performance implementations The ideal candidate will lead technical teams collaborate with stakeholders and implement best practices for Salesforce development Key Responsibilities Salesforce Architecture Development Design and implement scalable solutions using Apex Lightning Components and Salesforce APIs Integration Automation Develop integrations with third-party systems using REST SOAP APIs MuleSoft and event-driven architectures Technical Leadership Guide development teams conduct code reviews and enforce best practices Customization Configuration Optimize workflows automation and custom objects to enhance business processes Security Compliance Ensure adherence to Salesforce security best practices and data governance policies Performance Optimization Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Salesforce applications Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Required Skills Qualifications 5 years of Salesforce development experience with expertise in Apex Lightning and SOQL Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture data modelling and security Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs middleware and event-driven frameworks Proficiency in CI CD pipelines Git and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments Familiarity with Salesforce DX Metadata API and automated testing frameworks Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Salesforce certifications Platform Developer I II Application Architect or System Architect Experience with Salesforce Einstein AI Flow automation and advanced reporting Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices EXPERIENCE 14 years of total experience in software engineering 5 years of experience in a core engineering role using Salesforce EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY Graduate in any discipline
