**Storage Administrator (IBM and EMC/NetAPP Block) - 6+ yrs - Bangalore**

**What you will be doing**
- Completes backup and recovery, data migration, storage allocation, connectivity and storage reporting requests.
- Creates, removes and expands file systems and volumes.
- Provides SAN switch / director monitoring, configuration and support.
- Creates and maintains documentation.
- ** 24x7 support** to the Production & Non-production storage components
- Follow the change management process for smoother resolution of issues with host teams
- Responsible for performing the changes and preparing action plan for the changes
- Working with Vendor and Customer during the hardware failure issues
- Follow a proper procedure to Start and Shut down of SAN
- Collect storage and SAN switch logs and share with vendor to provide analysis.
- Maintain asset inventory with capacity details and share with management on monthly basis.
- Have good knowledge on Backup tools like veritas NetBackup and Avamar tools

**What you bring**
- Overall of 6 yrs of Experience on IBM and Netapp/EMC
- Hands on experience of IBM Storwise and EMC storage devices administrative task (Creation of LUN/Deletion/Map/Unmap/Flash copy/Trouble shooting, Etc)
- Knowledge on Cloud Technologies
- Hands on experience of Brocade and Cisco SAN switches (to check port connectivity/ Zoning (creation/edit/removal)/ISL Truncating)
- Troubleshooting the performance issues on Storage/SAN switch devices.
- Guiding/Training L1 engineers to perform the basic activities (health checks / Information sharing.. Etc)
- New storage/SAN switch devices procurement, Installation and configuration.
- Storage/SAN switch devices decommissioning.
- Hands on experience of Storage and SAN switch devices storage code upgradation.
- Good knowledge on ITIL process management.
- Good Skills on Storage performance analysis.
- Good working knowledge on process & SOP’s documentation.
