ABOUT THE TEAM:
The End User Support Technician usually works with most desktop related aspects like laptops, PCs, printers, scanners, and related peripherals to support the organization
WHAT YOUâLL DO:
As a
**Desktop Engineer II**, you willThis position will report to the Sr.
**MANAGER, IT**.
- Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support and basic data network problems.
- Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.
- Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems
- Test all conference rooms to ensure VC equipment and IT equipment is in running condition
- Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software.
- Develop and manage effective professional working relationships with co-workers and clients.
- Adhere to policies as per corporate manuals and directives.
- Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Daily Tasks**:
- Regular Desktop problems
- New hire system configurations
- New hire account creations
- Meeting room connectivity
- Asset management
- Asset tracking
- Taking care of Daily tickets
- Server Installations ( user request)
- Test systems for development ( user request)
- Mobile configurations (MS Teams/Outlook)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
- Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
- Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Preference given for ITIL v3/v4 Certified, Comptia [A+/Server+/ Linux+] certified
- Willing to work 24X7 support Environment
- Scripting Knowledge would be a Plus
- InTunes / SCCM knowledge would be a Plus
