**Roles and Responsibility**
- Description: Microstrategy

MSTR Consultant

The position is suited for individuals who have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume, deadline driven environment.

Education and Experience
- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MS/MBA**Required Skills**:

- Lead BI design and development activities, identify risks and recommend risk mitigation plans
- Design future dashboards including Source to Target ETL logic and dashboard development.
- Experience with MicroStrategy version 9+ development solutions
- Good knowledge of DBMS concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Understand technical specifications and create report design documents
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues, defects, ability to analyze data and to present analysis in a usable format.
- Exclusive knowledge in creating and integrating MicroStrategy reports and objects (Attributes, Filters, Facts, Prompts, Templates, Consolidation and Custom Groups)
- Maintain and update MicroStrategy system and configure and compile all required data.
- Develop all MicroStrategy related ETL processes and procedures for all development work.
- Follow Object development, Object maintenance and acceptance testing for all development efforts.
- Should have basic knowledge on AWS services(S3,EC2).
- Basic knowledge of Snowflake schema?s/tables/views/stages etc.
- Should have strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
- Should have experience in fine tuning and troubleshooting performance issues.
- Should have participated in different kinds of testing like Unit Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc.
- Constant communication and follow up with stakeholder.
- Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with operating system, relational databases and data sources MicroStrategy connects.
- Exposure to advanced Snowflake features like Data sharing/Cloning/export and import is desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema) concepts.
- Participation in client interactions/meetings is desirable.
- Participation in code-tuning is desirable.
- Exposure to AWS platform is desirable.
