**Job Description - Sr. Siebel Architect - Bangalore**

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
This position is for a senior Siebel technical architect having 15+ years of experience in Software development

**DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Deep understanding of Siebel architecture, data encryption protocols authentication mechanisms, and authorization controls, specifically focusing on security and data protection

Delivery of viable plans, proposals and designs to maintain functional and non-functional behavior of the Siebel platform at high quality, security, resilience and performance

Conduct regular security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities

Effective design and implementation of the systems during software design and build.

Delivery of viable plans, proposals and designs to maintain functional and non-functional behavior of the Siebel platform at high quality, security, resilience, and performance.

Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and quality of the solutions delivered following a full SDLC process where time-to-market is critical

Design, develop and provide technical leadership in the delivery and deployment of solutions, ensuring timeliness and assured quality

**CONTRIBUTING RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Assist in project planning, technical feasibility study, project scoping, solutioning and effort estimation.

Stay up to date on the latest Siebel technologies, trends, and security threats, with particular emphasis on evolving password vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies

Effective communication and collaboration with Domain colleagues and other stakeholders on technical issues

**TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES**:
15+ years of experience as a Siebel Technical Architect or related role

Degree or higher degree in software engineering or related technical discipline

Ability to quickly assimilate technical knowledge from outside own area of expertise

Experience with Siebel integration technologies, ensuring secure data exchange.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at identifying and resolving complex password security challenges.

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, effectively conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with developers, administrators, and clients.

Experience with Siebel performance monitoring and analysis tools, ensuring optimal password security performance.

Experience with Siebel security auditing tools and methodologies.

Knowledge of security compliance requirements.

Has an experience on Siebel older versions which are out of support (eg Siebel 7)
