Key Responsibilities

Vendor Negotiation: Lead price, quality, and contract negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and long-term supplier partnerships.

Vendor Registration & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and register reliable domestic and international vendors; maintain updated vendor database.

Vendor Market Research: Conduct ongoing research on suppliers, alternative sourcing options, and global pricing trends.

Supply Chain Management: Manage procurement of raw materials, inventory planning, and ensure timely supply to production.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with production, QA/QC, logistics, and finance teams to streamline procurement operations.

Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective sourcing strategies.

Contract & Compliance Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts; ensure compliance with import/export regulations, quality standards, and corporate policies.

Order Management: Issue purchase orders, follow up on supplier deliveries, track lead times, and ensure timely receipt of materials.

Supplier Performance Monitoring: Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs such as delivery time, quality, and cost-effectiveness; take corrective actions as needed.

Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks, assess potential disruptions, and develop contingency plans.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records, generate monthly/quarterly reports on procurement performance, costs, and vendor metrics.

New Product Sourcing: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to source materials for new products or formulations.

Stakeholder Management: Communicate procurement plans, challenges, and progress to senior management; provide insights for strategic decisions.

**Requirements**:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

5-8 years’ experience in procurement of chemicals/pharma raw materials.

Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, vendor development, market research, and supply chain management.

Strong knowledge of sourcing, global trade practices, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and procurement reporting.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
