We ensure the Platform is scalable for the increased usage growth, modernize where necessary, perform mandatory maintenance, BAU and general systems upkeeping.

The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of value using Agile practices. The Scrum Mater contributes significantly to their team’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on delivering business priorities.

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long term value to our customers.
Act as Servant leader to an Agile team.
Oversee project timelines, dependencies, and milestones, ensuring comprehensive project plans are developed and maintained.
Facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders, aligning parties throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage scope changes, risks, and escalate issues as needed, coordinating testing efforts and assisting with technical requirement translation for scrum teams.
Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from agile best practices and values.
Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement.
Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value.
Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams.
Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, Retrospectives and Quarterly planning.
Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.
Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency.
Work with peers, managers, and communities of practice to increase the effectiveness of Agile delivery.

**What We’re Looking For**:
Experience leading teams in delivery using Agile practices.
Team-first, empathetic, servant leader with a growth mindset.
5-9 years of experience in the role of Scrum master.
Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners, to address and resolve bugs efficiently.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN to manage code changes related to bug fixes.
Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for managing cloud-based projects and services.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies to effectively manage project deliverables from initiation to closure.
Ability to conduct data analysis using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau to derive insights and make informed decisions.
Experience with issue tracking and management systems such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps (ADO) to log, track, and prioritize project tasks and issues.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Asana to create and manage project plans, timelines, and resources.
