**Job Description: Warehouse Associate (Day and Night Shifts)**

**Position**: Warehouse Associate
**Reports to**: Warehouse Supervisor

**Job Summary**: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Receiving and Processing**:

- Unload trucks and check in merchandise.
- Inspect items for damage and discrepancies.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
- **Order Fulfillment**:

- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Retrieve and prepare products for shipment ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory records by completing daily logs.
- Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as required.
- Update inventory systems with received and dispatched products.
- **General Warehouse Duties**:

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse and maintaining orderly storage of products.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Participate in safety training sessions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹31,048.93 per month
