**Product Description**:

A Research Associate is responsible for conducting research, managing data, interpreting data or findings in an actionable way.

**Education and experience**:

- Post Graduate Degree /Graduate Degree required
- Have worked with incubators, accelerators, startups, or have been an entrepreneur by yourself (preferred)

**Key Competency and skills**:

- Excellent analytical, computing, communication, and writing skill.
- A strong interest in a research career.
- A basic technical understanding and affinity towards technology and IT.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial, Openness to learn and adapt to the ecosystem.
- Respectful, Proactive, and Accommodating.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Scraping data from websites or documents and compilation into usable formats for analysis.
- Linking different datasets, ensuring data quality, and processing raw data into processed datasets for modeling and estimation.
- Compiling and processing data within a spatial framework, including extracting data from rasters, vectorization of attribute data, and visual representation in the form of maps.
- Literature search and review, summary, presentation, and analytical writing.
- Data analysis and causal estimation, including visualization and reporting.
- Perform such other duties as required and appropriate to the objectives of this position, program, and the needs of the organization.
