**Job Summary**: The Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the company’s buildings and grounds. This role ensures that all systems and facilities are functioning efficiently and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- **Repair**: Repair building fixtures, equipment, and grounds, including drywall, doors, and windows.
- **Cleaning**: Clean and maintain buildings, including sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots.
- **Landscaping**: Perform landscaping maintenance, such as mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching.
- **Safety**: Ensure that security and safety measures are in place.
- **Inventory**: Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- **Installation**: Install equipment and appliances.
- **Compliance**: Follow local and state building codes and company safety regulations.
- **Communication**: Communicate with tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.
- **Documentation**: Keep a maintenance log and write shift reports.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- **Skills**: Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems are a plus.
- **Experience**: Experience with landscaping and grounds maintenance.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Assist with moving and setting up office furniture as needed.
- Ensure buildings are running efficiently and address any issues promptly.
