**OPEN POSITION: QUALITY OFFICER**

We are looking for a Quality Check officer. The Quality Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet the required quality standards set by regulatory bodies, company policies, and customer expectations. This role involves overseeing the implementation of quality control processes, conducting inspections, testing raw materials and finished products, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control**:

- Perform inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular checks of packaging materials and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- **Food Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO certifications.
- Implement and monitor sanitation practices and cleanliness standards in all areas of the production facility.
- Prepare and assist with audits by regulatory authorities, third-party audits, and internal quality audits.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality inspections, tests, and audits.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities, deviations, corrective actions, and results of testing.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- **Training & Development**:

- Provide training to production staff on quality control standards and food safety practices.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in food quality and safety.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food industry.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSMA).
- Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques and quality control methodologies.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- **Certifications (preferred)**:

- Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or related food safety standards is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may require standing for long periods, as well as lifting and handling materials.
- Occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required depending on production schedules and quality control needs.

Salary-As per market standard
