**EDUCATION : DIPLOMA, ITI PREFERRED**

**SALARY : 15,000 -25,000**

Recycling Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary

Assist in the sorting and processing of recyclable materials, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Sorting and Separation: Sort and separate recyclable materials (e.g., paper, plastic, glass, metal) from non-recyclable materials.

2. Material Handling: Operate machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, sorting machines) to move materials through the recycling process.

3. Quality Control: Inspect materials for contamination and remove non-recyclable items.

4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on recycling equipment.

5. Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.

6. Teamwork: Collaborate with recycling teams, supervisors and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operations.

7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of recycling activities, including materials processed and contaminants removed.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: High school diploma or ITI

2. Experience: 0-1 year of experience in recycling, waste management or a related field.

3. Skills: Attention to detail, physical stamina, communication and teamwork skills.

4. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

1. Basic knowledge of recycling processes and materials.

2. Familiarity with occupational safety and health regulations (e.g., OSHA).

3. Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.

**Working Conditions**

1. Recycling facility or waste management setting.

2. Exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures.

3. Physical demands: lifting, bending, standing.

4. Rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

5. Overtime as needed.

**Salary Range**

₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
