**Position: Sourcing Textile Specialist**

Summary: As a Sourcing Textile Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and procuring high-quality têxtiles for our company's product line. Your primary objective is to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain while maintaining product quality, cost-effectiveness, and adhering to ethical sourcing practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, design, production, and quality control to support the successful execution of our têxtile sourcing strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Textile Sourcing**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential têxtile suppliers and stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
- Source and evaluate new têxtile suppliers based on their capability, quality, pricing, lead times, and ethical standards.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment, and delivery conditions.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Collaborate with the quality control team to establish and maintain têxtile quality standards.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure consistency in product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers promptly to prevent production delays or customer dissatisfaction.
- **Cost Optimization**:

- Work closely with the product development and design teams to identify cost-effective têxtile options without compromising quality and performance.
- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce sourcing costs, improve efficiency, and enhance the value proposition of the products.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with têxtile suppliers, fostering a collaborative and productive partnership.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews and address any performance issues constructively.
- **Ethical Sourcing and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and ethical sourcing practices in the têxtile supply chain.
- Monitor and address any social or environmental issues related to sourcing practices to maintain a responsible and sustainable supply chain.
- **Supply Chain Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure timely and accurate supply of têxtiles to support manufacturing schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to manage the timely delivery of materials and resolve any shipment-related issues.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in têxtile sourcing or procurement within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of different types of têxtiles, their properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and industry standards for têxtiles.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess supplier capabilities and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Understanding of ethical sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives in the têxtile industry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools and systems for sourcing, data analysis, and reporting.

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
