**Quality Control Inspector**
- **Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949)
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of molded parts.
- Perform tests to check physical properties (e.g., strength, flexibility, durability).
- Compare parts to blueprints, technical drawings, or customer specifications.
- Document inspection results and report any deviations.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Design quality control plans specific to the injection molding process.
- Analyze defect trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for product or process failures.
- Monitor the injection molding process to ensure consistent production quality.
- Optimize machine settings and troubleshoot issues to minimize defects.
- Validate process parameters and maintain records of adjustments.
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to verify product dimensions.
- Maintain calibration of measuring equipment.
- Prepare detailed measurement reports for customer and internal reviews.
- Test raw materials (e.g., polymers, additives) to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Evaluate material properties such as melt flow index (MFI), tensile strength, and impact resistance.
- Inspect material batches for contamination or inconsistencies.
- Oversee QC inspectors and technicians to ensure proper adherence to inspection procedures.
- Provide training on quality standards and testing protocols.
- Review and approve inspection and testing reports.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and test results.
- Prepare quality reports for management and customers.
- Identify areas for quality improvement in the molding process.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma practices to reduce waste and defects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
