Introduction:
The role holder will support allocated Change Programmes across the Global book of work. They will report to the Workforce Change Lead in India and be part of the stand-up of a new specialist Workforce Change team based in India. They will need to have a focus on continuous improvement and continue to deliver a high quality service to the business whist simplifying process and making activities more efficient. A training programme will be provided to upskill the role holder in managing change in different regions (particularly the UK Legal and IR framework).

What will you be doing?

The role holder will be responsible for the following key deliverables in Workforce Change & Restructuring:
Project Initiation
- Ensure the HR project plan supports the business implementation plan / RAID log / reporting requirements
- Engage key HR stakeholders engaged on project, including regional counterparts

Due Diligence
- Understand and ensure adherence to the legal and IR framework for the specific type of change and country/region in scope
- Feed into overall project timelines
- Ensure the project team are aware of any applicable policies that may impact approach, timelines or costs

Consultation
- Support the business in the development of Unite/Employee Forum consultation materials, including powerpoint decks and FAQ documents
- Ensure that meetings are documented and that minutes & actions are issued to attendees post the meeting
- Provide regular updates to Unite and/or other employee representatives through project life cycle
- Share communication collateral with Unite in advance of colleague communications and facilitate Unite attendance during announcement meetings (if agreed through consultation)

Implementation
- Co-ordinate and deliver implementation plans
- Deliver projects compliant with HR policies and procedures and comply with appropriate documentation and storage of project materials in line with audit requirements
- Support the preparation of project communications, 1:1 collateral and other templates
- Prepare and facilitate communicating manager briefing sessions
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee records/documents in partnership with HR Operations

What we’re looking for:

- Ability to think commercially whilst managing and mitigating Risk
- Self-starter with the commitment to driving through change within the HR function
- Excellent analytical and data skills, including intermediate use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience of working with UK based HR teams
- Employee Relations experience (either within an ER team or a HR generalist role), preferably in managing change in either India or UK jurisdictions
