Job Summary

**Job Summary**:
This is a role within the Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) group at NetApp. As the platform administrator for the cloud DW platforms within EDA, you will have an opportunity to administer and work on a wide variety of products within the IT estate including Snowflake, HVR, Informatica Cloud Services (IICS) etc. You will be responsible for a stable and scalable architecture to be used the developers, end users and other IT stakeholders.

Roles And Responsibilities

In This Role You Will
- Provide technical expertise on DW technologies like Snowflake and HVR/ Fivetran, primarily from an administration perspective
- Have a wide understanding of ETL and DB processes and technologies
- Provide expertise on the overall data eco-system’s engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical resolutions
- Have experience on hybrid IT estates with On Prem and Cloud based tools
- Experience designing and administering platforms for resilience and performance
- Demonstrating use of automation for monitoring system health
- Manage the platforms, pro-actively identifying performance bottlenecks and upgrade plans as needed
- Need experience of system design, server management, capacity planning and horizontal/vertical scaling based on workloads would be desirable
- Have good communication skills

Job Requirements

To be successful, you will
- Need experience on hybrid IT estates with On Prem and Cloud based tools
- Have wide understanding of Databases, ETL and Reporting platforms
- Ability to manage a hybrid data architecture with On Prem and SaaS products
- Expertise in ETL and Reporting performance over large data volumes
- Preferable : experience in administration of Oracle, HANA, Snowflake and similar Cloud DW platforms, and ETL tools like Datastage
- A great attitude to learn new tools and evolve with an ever changing IT estate
- Build innovative solutions for problems using automation

Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience..
