**About the role-**

**Primarily focused on**:

- Located at our Chennai office as part of our Media Operations team, this would provide an opportunity incumbent to gain knowledge on audio-video pipeline and content management system.
- Learn end to end knowledge of how video assets, are served to the end client and how playback functionality work.

**About You—**

**Experience & Technical Requirements**:

- General knowledge of video and audio transcoding, codecs, and formats.
- Knowledge of various platforms for streaming media playback (eg: AppleTV, Roku, iOS, Android).
- Experience working with XML and different metadata formats.
- Flexibility to alter shifts/days off and work overtime to accommodate special projects and departmental objectives.
- Knowledge in streaming technologies through coursework would be an asset.

**Firstlight Media staff reports into offices in a hybrid capacity (i.e partially at home, and partially at the office based on role/team needs) leveraging safety protocols aligned with local public health guidelines as they relate to COVID-19.
