**Job Summary**:
The Dietitian assesses, plans, and implements personalized nutrition programs to support patients' health and wellness goals. This role involves evaluating patients' dietary needs, providing evidence-based advice, and collaborating with healthcare teams to improve overall well-being and manage health conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Assessment**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ dietary habits, medical history, and nutritional needs.
- Interpret lab results and other clinical data to create tailored nutrition plans.
- **Nutrition Planning and Counseling**:

- Develop individualized meal plans and provide dietary recommendations based on health goals, medical conditions, and preferences.
- Counsel patients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and nutrient balance.
- **Disease Management**:

- Provide medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, and food allergies.
- Offer specialized nutrition plans for patients with unique needs (e.g., pediatric, geriatric, prenatal).
- **Education and Advocacy**:

- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the importance of nutrition in managing health.
- Conduct workshops or group sessions on nutrition and wellness topics.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Teams**:

- Work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide input during case reviews and team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.
- **Monitoring and Evaluation**:

- Track patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- **Research and Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in nutrition science.
- Participate in professional development activities and certifications.

**Qualifications: Education**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.

**Certification/Licensure**:

- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure or certification, if required.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in clinical, community, or corporate settings (varies by role level).

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
- Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Proficiency in using nutrition software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to interpret clinical data and develop actionable plans.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
