**Job Summary**:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, furniture components, and finished products required for the company's operations. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely deliveries, managing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory levels to meet production and sales demands.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement & Purchase Management**:
**Vendor Management**:

- Source and identify reliable suppliers for raw materials, furniture components, and finished products.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality products, and competitive pricing.
- Evaluate and monitor vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and cost.

**Purchase Order Management**:

- Create and issue purchase orders based on production requirements and inventory levels.
- Track order status and ensure that the necessary items are delivered on time.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve any delays, quality issues, or discrepancies with products.

**Price Negotiation**:

- Negotiate the best prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and industry pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate product quality and ensure it meets company standards and specifications.

**Quality Control & Inspection**:
**Quality Assurance**:

- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that procured materials meet company standards.
- Conduct inspections of materials and goods upon arrival to ensure they conform to specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors for returns, exchanges, or replacements in case of defective or damaged goods.

**Handling Discrepancies**:

- Investigate and resolve any issues related to delivery discrepancies, defective goods, or incorrect orders.
- Document and report any procurement-related issues to management.

**Documentation & Record Keeping**:
**Order Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, delivery receipts, and invoices.
- Ensure proper documentation for all procurement transactions for audit and reporting purposes.

**Budget Management**:

- Work with the finance team to ensure that the procurement process stays within budget.
- Monitor costs and report any significant changes to the purchasing budget.

**Communication & Coordination**:
**Internal Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure that purchasing needs align with operational requirements.
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products, meeting production and sales deadlines.

**Reporting**:

- Provide regular updates to senior management on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and vendor performance.
- Prepare purchase reports, analyze procurement trends, and suggest improvements to optimize the purchasing process.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.

**Negotiation Skills**:

- Strong ability to negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.

**Attention to Detail**:

- Ensure that purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications.

**Problem-Solving Skills**:

- Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, particularly in cases of delivery delays or product discrepancies.

**Communication Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**Industry Experience**:

- Experience in the furniture industry or with a focus on raw materials like wood, upholstery, and hardware is highly desirable.

**Certifications**:

- Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or inventory management is a plus.

**Language Skills**:

- Proficiency in Hindi and other regional languages may be preferred depending on the location of the suppliers and vendors.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
